Well if you’ve been here before, you might notice things have changed just a little bit. Yes, I finally gave up the day-glow crayon colour scheme that was my old theme. Welcome to the new and improved RetroHack…new look, same great taste.
It’s the Thesis (affiliate link) theme, customised to closely resemble the Clam-Shell theme by Michael Soriano. He created what I feel is a beautiful theme, but one that was built intentionally to not support widgets, and I need my widgets! I just didn’t have the WordPress-Fu to get all the functionality into the sidebar using hooks and functions, so I bit the bullet and let Gabriel convince me to use Thesis since he bought the Developer’s Option, it looks simply awesome on Cuban Nomad, and he has joint custody of our little retrohack baby since he hosts it/admins it/edits it/contributes far more to it than his byline would imply.
There will still be some tweaking in the next few days, but by and large, this is the new RetroHack. I hope you like the new look as much as I do.
